800 PM EDT FRI SEP 23 2016

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Karl, located south-southwest of Bermuda, and on recently
downgraded Tropical Depression Lisa, located over the eastern
tropical Atlantic.

1. A tropical wave located southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands is
expected to move rapidly westward across the tropical Atlantic Ocean
at 20 to 25 mph for the next several days. Environmental conditions
could be conducive for some gradual development while the system
approaches the Lesser Antilles next week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent

Hay algo de eso que voy a escribir en Hurricane University.

Pero si adelanto que desde mi perspectiva, un modelo que me cambie drasticamente intensidad y trayectoria con una a 4 corridas de diferencia, aun cuando la prediccion sea a largo plazo, debe tener un gran margen de error y su confiabilidad es cuestionable. Por lo menos, a largo plazo.
